Welcome to the Phorum!!
Check
RadioDaze for decals. The knobs on that one are a little unusual so try the folks that
Ron has listed as resources for knobs. David, Julie, Kelton and Mike supply original knobs. I've bought from all but Kelton in the past. You may have to try them all as they don't have every knob for every radio. The grill cloth looks a bit like the
whiskey rayon that Kenneth Richmonds sells but its a little hard to see in the 42-345 photos I was looking at.

no no no whiskey rayon!
It is like carpeting and I used one off ebay that matched pretty good.

Hi. I know this is an old thread, but I have the same radio and looking for grill cloth. Can you tell me where you found that one or a name for it?

Welcome MamaJennie! Nichael Katz has a site called Radio Grill Cloth. Good source for fabric.

Try Radio Daze for knob decals.

Hope this helps. Gary

I’ve recently used both Michael Katz’s fabric and Radio Daze’s decals for a radio of my own. I can attest that you’ll be most satisfied.
My only advice, when ordering the decals, is to make sure that your decal kit includes the “Philco” decal. The kit I ordered had all other decals but not this one, so I needed to order a separate Philco decal. I noticed that other decal kits do include the branding, so just be mindful!

Another learning experience I had. You will benefit tremendously from purchasing decal softener and setting solutions such as Micro-Sol and Micro-Set, AK Interactive Decal Setting Solution, or the like. This will really help to conform the new decals to the surface of your radio and will eliminate the laminated look of your decals.

Thank you. Where would I find those products?

Right now Mike is probably the only good source of Philco-specific cloth, as well as others (I bought both Philco and RCA from him).
