Emud T7 Power Transformer. - Jayce - 11-19-2024

I wanted to ask if anyone knows the values and voltages for the power transformer in an Emud T7 radio? The one in my recapped T7 fried a couple years back and my friend said there is a chance he has a transformer that might work when I bought the SABA off him. He found a few boxes of power transformers when he was cleaning out his shop before the auction and took them home.

Jayce;
  From what I can tell the Emud T7 is a seven tube set, but unlike most West German radios from that era it has a tube rectifier similar to a 6X4. You will have to look up the heater current of each tube, and add them together to figure out what you need for the 6.3 volt heater winding. I don't know what the voltage rating is for the high voltage winding, but it would be center tapped because of the tube rectifier, so likely 300-0-300 volts, or something like that, at probably 120 ma. These are all guesses, the best way to find out if find the service info for this set, and a parts list if you are lucky. If it has taps for different primary voltages you won't have to worry about that in the replacement, so that makes finding a new or used replacement easier.
