Philco 39-8T CABINENT QUESTION? - wkloradio - 06-05-2011
Just curious but I have a Philco 39-8T. Works fine but needs some restoration on the cabinent that at this point, I am wondering if it wouldn't be better if I could find another cabinent for it and then that project is done. How hard to find another cabinent?

Just keep your eyes peeled on ebay and CL. The down side is you'll be buying a whole another set just for the cabinet. Cost may not make it worth while. On a console model it's much tricky as shipping can be a deal breaker. I try to get one that I'm confident I can fix. Although I did get a model 21 that is going to take more than it's worth to make it nice. That's part of the hobby.
