Hi all
So far so good from a dead radio 42-380 to a great sounding one now! Replaced all caps including electrolytics Replaced three bad tubes. (couldn't test #41 tubes as my tester doesn't have socket for them). New cord and lo and behold beautiful sound coming out of it. My problem is on SW at night I can pick up stations but they are garbled and I can't hear the words foreign or English. Any Ideas what would cause them to be all garbled?
