40-165 decals
#1

Hi, I'm getting ready to restore a 40-165. Does anyone have a picture that shows the correct decals and placement of decals that they could post or send me? Also does this radio use the same dial cover as the 40-140?
Thanks,
Keith

Yes, that's the radio but mine is installed in a radiobar. Can you send me pictures of the decals for the controls? I'll send you a PM with my email address.
Thanks,
Keith

RadioBar... nice. Can we see any pictures?

Here's my 40-165. The other 40-165's appear to have a different bezel that's mounted on a curved surface.

I can send you a picture of my 40-160. I think the only difference will be that yours has SW and mine doesn't. The original bezel is much better looking IMO than what's on your Radiobar, but the Radiobar is beautiful anyway!
