Hi all here is my latest toy
#1

I found this little tumbstone and could not resist. Icon_smile The cabinet needed a lot of glue and repair Icon_sad but I think it come out o k. As you can see from the pictures it was in bad shape. It is the first Crosley I have ever messed with, notice the caps were dual, two in one paper tube with the common comming out at the mounting ring and soldered to the ring. Icon_think I had never seen this set up. Anyway here is the pictures
here is how I got it

Joe

It looks nice.
Is it playing yet?

Hi
Yes it plays very good, it has no AVC, so tuning is tricky but after tuned in it works fine . The volume control is at the antenna input. I just could not pass it up. Joe

Nice little Crosley! Yes, Crosleys can be good performers once you get them going. But, since Crosley radios were built with an eye towards low cost, you can run into many headaches in them as well. Still, I love the art-deco Crosley tombstone I've got. Think I will get it out after work and enjoy it some this evening. Icon_smile

No matter where you go, there you are.
