Philco 16B arch top
#1

I was wondering if this chassis is the correct one for the "peaked top" 16B? This is not the same one I posted photos of in a previous post (5 band with a less peaked top) but the cabinet that has a top that is more pointed. It has 4 bands.
I know there are several 16B chassis, and they get put into wrong cabinets so I just want to make sure this is correct.

If you mean the 16B with the more "pointed" or "peaked" top, then yes, a 4-band chassis is correct for this one.

Thanks Ron! I thought so. I couldn't tell as the shadow meter looked different than in my 4 band shouldered 16B.
It was priced right, and the chassis was well restored and playing very well so I bought it anyway. I now have 3! Icon_biggrin
Trying to get all 4 different styles (I think there are 4 styles of the 16B). If so I just need the early cathedral.
