Local finds
#1

Hi everyone,
Haven't posted anything lately. I've been busy with life and renovating my bathroom (long story!). I haven't been seeing interesting on Craigslist (a good thing) until today. I picked up these two right in my home town not 5 blocks from my house. A 1930 Zenith model 11 and a 1933/34 General electric K-80! The Zenith was the only one listed but when I went to look at it the seller had this General electric and I shot him an offer for both and he took it!!! The Zenith is in terrific condition, missing only a small end of decorative scroll work. The G.E. has some veneer issues but is very repairable. Also, the G.E K-80 is almost identical to the RCA 140 which has been a bucket list set for me since I started collecting, so even though responsible me is kicking myself for spending money on this instead of using it more wisely, I'm very glad to have found these. here are some pics.

I love the RCA. (or GE).
Hunting one myself.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.
