Uses a ballast tube?? I see it has a 68v 300ma heater string.

  Thanks Bob. I appreciate that.

 Terry it doesn't have a ballast tube. It had a BC resistor 17a -30 ohm 3watt & 17b- 106 ohms. 9 watt. I replaced it with two power resistors. First time I used  10 watts for both but they were very hot think I could fry an egg on the chassis. So I went with 2 power resistors that I bolted to the chassis 1-10 watt for the 3 watt & a25 watt for the 9 watt. It helped but still pretty darn hot.
