Model 48-1256 questions
#1

Hey all!  So recently someone gave me one of these cool little radios. The AM seems to come in ok but I'm still not sure what each knob on the front adjusts exactly I can change the station and then adjust something else so it sounds different. I have never had or used an old tube radio so I pretty much have no idea where to start with this thing.

I do not own any records so I'm not sure if that works yet, will find out shortly I suppose.

The speakers seem to work ok, not sure what the quality should be like on something almost 70 years old.

Any info is appappreciated.

Welcome.

This radio other than playing records foes not give you many controls. There is the Radio/Phono switch, volume, tone control and the tuning.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.

I was down in the basement in my dad's

figure out what all those squiggly meant.
