Did all 70 cathedrals have tube shields ?
#1

Stupid question maybe but I can't find an answer.
I see some that say fully restored but they are missing the shield.
Very curious.

If you mean the triple shield with the label - yes, all of them.
And it might work without it but might become unstable.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.

Thanks.  Lot of people in here who know their stuff.  Just hope I'm not being a nuisance with these basic questions.  I do search beforehand. Thanks all.

Obtw There are repro made of these shields and think a few others.

When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.
Circa 1966
Now I think I've got!

Welcome to the Phorum. Ask as much as you like. The members here enjoy helping out.
What Terry said about the repro tube shield. I bought one last year and it was very original looking.

It'll howl without the shield when you turn up the volume. Ask me how I know this ... Icon_wink

If I could find the place called "Somewhere", I could find "Anything" Icon_confused
