A little diamond in the rough. This thing came from eBay complete with 12 coats of industrial black paint, applied with a brush. It was supposed to be Ivory but I decided to leave it plain. I didn't save the original knobs, they were Ivory and didn't look good painted brown.
Plays well after re-capping and alignment.  Icon_biggrin

AWESOME!

I am doing the same thing right now..!

I bought a red Philco and the paint was bad so I used Goof-Off to remove alll the paint.. I really like it as plain bakelite but I think it should be the factory red...
