48-482 audio section
#1

I'm making my way through a re-cap of a 48-482 and am about to start the audio section. I have a later model with the 7B6 subbed in for the 6SQ7GT. The schematic is for the early model, and I'm wondering if there's any difference in the way things are connected to the 7B6? Here's the segment of the schematic illustrating the audio connections:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mike,
Yes, the pinout is different between the octal 6SQ7/GT & the loctal 7B6 dual diode/HI-Mu triode:
6SQ7/GT:
1. N.C.
2. Triode grid
3. Cathode
4. Diode plate 1
5. Diode plate 2
6. Triode plate
7. Filament
8. Filament

7B6:
1. Filament
2. Triode Plate
3. Triode Grid
4. N.C.
5. Diode 1 plate
6. Diode 2 plate
7. Cathode
8. Filament

Thanks so much! I will proceed with extreme caution...as usual.
