Philco Model 71 Code 121

This chassis was found in my dad's basement and has been in my attic for 13 years. Would like to find an original cabinet if possible and also looking for a replacement speaker.
I cannot determine what cabinet this came out of based on the panel on the front.
Would like suggestions of where to find a cabinet and also a replacement speaker.

The speakers for the 71 depend on the cabinet you put the chassis in.  See the spreadsheet at https://philcoradio.com/library/index.ph.../speakers/ for info.

Hi and welcome,

You could also post over on ARF and see if that produces anything. Mostly be vigilant. Check CL, Facebook Marketplace sometimes can turn up some gems. Ebay, there maybe radio clubs that meet in your area.
Condition can also play a big role in what you may get. Some have the tools and skill sets to do refinishing and cabinet repairs. Other what a cabinet they can slide their chassis in and it's good to go.
Generally the consoles go cheap even in good condition. The 71B or baby grand aka cathedral would probably the most expensive/desirable of them all. The 71LZ is a chairside but the chassis is mechanically setup different than yours. Won't work with a lot of extra parts.

The sticker says "Chassis 71, Code 121" so it was a single speaker radio, either cathedral or console.

Hello and welcome! While you search for a suitable cabinet, I would suggest this is the time to re-cap and re-carbon the chassis which is a necessity for the radio. Do you have the speaker for this chassis? There might be a second search. Explore this Phorum in depth. Plenty of friendly help and information is available here. Good luck in your hunt.
