Testing Model 20 tubes - Hickok 539A
#1

I dug out my old Hickok 539A tube tester to check tubes on the Philco model 20 that I am restoring. There were settings for 80 rectifier, but no settings on the chart for 27's, 24's, or 71A's. Does anyone happen to have these settings available for this tester?
Thanx.

Well as a matter of fact I do.

Enjoy

When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.
Circa 1966
Now I think I've got!

Thanks, Terry
Do you know if data from other models still match up to the 539A? The suppliment seemed to only contain addition to newer tubes. I did find "obsolete" data under the Model 752 and the setting titles seem to correspond.
Thanks again

Not sure. You could drop Steve a note and see what he has to say.

I have this listing for Padgett's website on hickok tube testers. Give it a try.
