More new finds
#1

Another set that followed me home from Nashville this past Saturday:

It's a Model 48-225.

And here's another acquisition from that online auction house...

A Model 41-KR. I've never seen one of these before "in the flesh." I have seen its 1942 siblings, Models 42-KR3 and 42-KR5, but not this one until now.

Ron,

On the 48-225, is it a plastic set, painted plastic, or is it painted wood? It's kind of hard to tell from the photo.

Thanks!

Bill

Hi Bill

The 48-225 is indeed plastic. In case anyone is curious, the 41-KR is painted wood.

Ron;
Great find the 48-225, I love that shape and color. I saw one on ebay awhile back, in near mint condition, went out of my budget. I drool every time I see one.
Whens the new book due out?

A new book, which I have completed, is in a bit of limbo at this point and may or may not happen. I cannot divulge more than that right now, but stay tuned...

Glad you like the 48-225.
