Any one know where you hook up the Fm antenna to this?

There is a little 4 pin socket on top of the RF front end chassis, between the AM antenna terminal strip and the 6BA6 IF tube. The schematic shows the pin connections for the mating plug of the in cabinet FM dipole.

ok thanks hooked up antenna FM completely dead no noise or signals. AM works fine.

So either doing something wrong? or FM is bad.. Not sure what to check next.

ok started to go thru alignment procedure for Fm

Fm alignment steps 1 and 2. heard the 9.1 mhz signal.. did not adjust anything yet...had to use a strong signal. -3.5 dbm modulated.

went to next step sig generator to pin 4 j400 frequency of 105 mhz no signal heard at all..

OK Found problem... The 7F8 converter tube was loose in socket moved it around and FM started working.

So now onto alignment

Oh yes, many bumblebees and loktal tubes. The cutout is for the speaker.  Here's a photo from a different set. Bob Andersen — 12:59 AM
