A find in an unsual place!
#1

I attended a large (3,100 vendor) antique auto parts swap meet in Jefferson, WI today and wound up coming home with yet another 1947 Philco radio! It's a model 47-205, virtually identical to the 47-204 I have in my collection already. At first glance, it appears just the large white plastic frame around the dial & speaker is not present on this set. Cosmetically, that appears to be the only major difference. Anyhow, they wanted $15 for it, and I offered them $10 which they accepted. I thought it was a good deal! I went home happy anyhow Icon_biggrin

I just noticed the dial face is also different between the 204 and 205.
