Dial Card for Models 38-12, 38-14, 38-15 and 38-17
#1

Can anyone tell me when I can got a good clean replacement for this dial card? Think it was originally Philco Part No. 31-2095

Dial card???

Did you mean dial cord? Or perhaps dial glass?

Dial cord is available from several suppliers; some are listed on my site's Resources page and on Chuck's resource links page.

Dial Card. Philco part number 27-5361. It has the station (frequency numbers) printed on it. It appears to be a gold foil with the numbers 55 -170 clock-wise on the upper half and 5.5 - 19.0 around the bottom half. The part number is printed in the top left corner.

That is a dial scale.

Radio Daze has purchased the stock of Rock-Sea Enterprises' former dial scale reproduction business. You might try there, or Mark Oppat's Old Radio Parts.

Oh, and the dial scales for the models you listed differ. Only Models 38-15 and 38-17 use the same scale. Model 38-14 has a different shortwave frequency coverage, while Model 38-12 is AM only.
