I have the radio playing but need the alignment instructions. A picture of the trimmers would be helpfull.

Not the best but i found this.

(not free) Vintage Manuals.com http://www.w7fg.com/

I ordered a manual for my fathers 37-690 from Vintage Manuals and was very impressed with the quality. IMO the quality rivals the original Philco service manual. $12 was well worth it.

It's not what you don't know that hurts you it's what you know that's not so.

Hey Rodney

In case you do not yet have the alignment info, here it is, from Rider's "Aligning Philco Receivers."

Note that the above graphic illustrates the trimmers as they existed on early production Model 60 sets. Your set's trimmers may look like the graphic below, in which case you may use the instructions below for the Model 66 receiver. NOTE that you will want to align the high end of the AM band at 1400 kc INSTEAD of 1700 kc shown for Model 66!

A "ping" to bring this thread back to the top. I noticed when I was photographing my 60 for Norman that the wave trap and low frequency padders on my 60 chassis were reversed compared to the graphic I previously posted above, so I corrected the graphic above. YMMV.
