I'm in the process of finishing up a 41-290 and am short several of the #4 x 3/8 oval head screws that attach the dial escutcheon to the cabinet. I found some similar brass plated oval head #4 screws at Home Depot, but the diameter of the head is slightly bigger so they don't fit in the countersinks as well as the original. Any ideas as to a source for some screws that might match the originals better?

I found some cabinet door hinge screws that were the right size and head taper to fit the countersunk holes on my 40-201 escutcheon panel. You might look in the cabinet hinge area at your local hardware. Also, in our area I have found that Ace Hardware stores carry 5 times the amount and types of hardware compared to Lowes or Home Depot. Give them a try.
