Finished my Sparton 668 and Crosley 515

I got finished with 2 radios today but cant get stations on either one Icon_sad

I may actually be going to Suffern NY next weekend. how close are you to there?

I may be buying a lot of tubes and a few radios.

Suffern NY is up North....I am in Jackson NJ, this is a bit south.

Think I-195 (Great Adventure).

PS. They had great brewery in Suffern, made "Ruffian Ale".....I think they disappeared.

Very nice, Kirk!!

I have a model 1568 that is same year model as your Sparton. It will be getting a cabinet resto possibly this summer, IF I EVER finish my 15X and my daughter's Crosley Play Time. In fact, I am listening to the Sparton as I type this. I got two Chinese 2A3s for 30.00 a piece at the Raleigh Ham-fest and am very pleased with them.

Interesting - this set overdrives the 2A3s with 350V plate and -64V bias. No idea what the power out is but the output Xfrmr and field coil are BIG.
