Mounting model 84 chassis to Cabinet
#1

Wanting to keep the Cabinet as close to original as possible, I only had to replace the old plastic dial face with a modern reproduction. Now here is the question, were there any rubber grommets between the chassis and the bottom of the cabinet (inside the cabinet not underneath)? It seems that there was only some kind of embossed foil type of material stapled to the bottom inside of the cabinet that's now worse for the wear. It (the chassis) sits at about the right height for correct alignment of both the volume and on/volume knobs as well as the dial face as they pass through the cabinet without grommets. Any help in this manner would be appreciated, as I don't see remnants of any rubber grommets anywhere! Thanks, BOBC, Cincinnati Ohio

It's the fist link on my RESOURCE LINKS page, btw.
