Thanks Dan, some guys were telling me the escutcheon was polished from factory, after researching a little I don't think it was so I went ahead and darkened it, looks a lot better.

That is an absolutely beautiful job you did on that!!  I have the previous year 1935 T8-14 with the round dial and also the little 1936 5T, both are very sensitive and 2 of my favorite radios!!

I sprayed a few light coats of dick van dike brown from Mohawk, its a toner color for wood refinishing, and is lacquer base. Looks pretty good ,gives it that patina (aged) look again Icon_eek I thought about hanging it over the ash tray when I smoke , to age the dial cover Icon_think Icon_think Icon_think Icon_think Icon_think Icon_think
