Well I lucked out (I think!) and found one of my bucket list Philco's. A model 16. It just appeared on eBay tonight, with a make offer option, and my (considerably lower) offer was quickly accepted. So I haven't got it yet but am trying to find out what exactly I have:
Now based on the item description, and what I can make out on the rather dark and curled cabinet label, it says "Model 16 (Code 12?) / Model 500 (Code 123)" I can't make out the last digit of the code on the model 16 part. But it definitely just says Model 16 with no 'B' suffix (not "16B").
Can anyone enlighten me on exactly what I have and which schematic I should be working off of? I hope this isn't one of those 32 volt farm orphans like I just finished!
