Not huge but at 15"W & 10"H, isn't small, largest Bakelite radio I own... Uses a 6" electromagnetic speaker that'd been replaced in early '60s, it and 5U4GB subbed for 5Y3G appeared to be only repairs... 

I had to rework P/S(added filter section)as the field coil has only around 25% resistance of orig(no idea on inductance)... Had a irritating low level hum that could not be subdued by juggling part values alone... Otherwise has it's original Brinmar 6K8G, 6K7G, 6Q7G & 6V6G shouldered tubes...  Rectifier is a NOS replacement Philco 5Y3G dated in 1951...

Supposedly it was onboard ship, so I don't imagine hum was noticable...
