Stromberg Carlson model 60
#11

Hi Eric. What I ended up using for testing was an H-7 Its listed as 3275 ohms( DC resistance )on the speaker spread sheet, but mine was reading 3100 ohms. It was used in Philco 14LZX, 15X, 23X, and 91X.
I also had the companion speaker to the H-7 -the K-12, 8 inch - which also is listed as 3275 ohms.
Note; it does not have an output transformer> so I used a universal ot a 125D I think, and installed it in the cabinet. It plays fine. But I don't use it that much. Maybe once a month.
So tell the truth not sure what the exact field coil DC resistance should be. Used the K-12 as it was, with no added resistor.
I was finally able to find a 10 inch Stromberg speaker out of a model 65 that I plan to replace the Philco speaker with. It has a field coil DC resistance of 1060.
