Hello and welcome.

I had to edit your post to get the pictures to show; the software here does not like anything other than the three letters img between the brackets. Of course this makes the right edge of the photos not show if not viewed at high resolution. This is a flaw in the Phorum software I need to fix one of these days. Sorry about that.

Radio collectors generally frown upon using old radios as computer cabinets, guitar amp cabinets, etc. However, it is your radio and you are free to do with it as you wish.

Since it did not have a chassis in it, this makes it a better candidate for the purposes you described and therefore, I don't think very many people will be upset about it. Icon_smile

May I suggest you offer the speaker and loop antenna for sale here on the Phorum if you will not be using them? Someone here can probably use those parts.

I strongly suggest you use the brown Titebond wood glue rather than epoxy on the cabinet; properly clamped, it will do a much better job.
