Hi there Radioroslyn,
 I have just re read your post and noted the model number you quote there and mine is different.I have looked inside the case of the set and find there a piece of paper stuck in  reading "Chevrolet Motor Company Model 985792 ".Could it be that there were several iterations of the B47? Either way this is the model I have and thank you for being kind enough to check it out for me. Information on American sets especially car radios can be hard to find here in N.Z. so I'm really pleased the Phorum allows us to access your huge data resources. Thanks and all the best. .
