Hi all, I know this post is a little old, but I thought I'd post this anyway.
I found that many models did not use a patterned cloth, like something fancy. It was more of a open weave plain cloth. No real pattern.
The 40-180, and the 42-385 definitely had the same type of cloth. It looks like the 41-280 also uses the same cloth.
The grille bars were so close together, it didn't ned a fancy cloth.
Here is an old post I made, showing the cloth close up.

This stuff should be a lot easier to find than the now scarce, fancy grillecloth![Icon_smile Icon_smile](https://philcoradio.com/phorum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
Hope this helps.
