Hello:

Here's something for you to consider. Alpha Wire has a 4-conductor, 20 AWG cable that has a PVC jacket. Their website is http://www.alphawire.com

Just type in 1715 as an Alpha Part Number to see this item. You can also request say a 4-foot free sample here. This cable does not have the old style cotton covering but it may do. Antique Electronic Supply has 8 conductor cotton covered cables.
