THese are very nice ,quality built radios.
I find the 40,s Philco's to be kind of boring and ugly.
Not to mention that their are a zillion of them out there.
Performance is very average.
Too much faux also.
Myself I try to stay around the 30's radios.
They really went downhill after 39.
