The center disc in the dial simply unscrews. Place a few fingers on the periphery of the whole dial and hold it stationary. Then turn the center disc gently counter-clockwise. It's like a #6 or #8 screw embedded in the disc's underside.
This will expose the three screws that hold the dial to the clockwork, allowing the guts to be dropped out of the case.
If your disc is stuck, try dribbling a little liquid wrench between the disc and dial, hoping to get it to the screw in the center to help release it. If there is enough warping between the disc and dial, maybe a hypodermic to shoot it into the center?
USE NO HEAT!!! The Tenite will melt and warp even more.
