Has anybody considered constructing a Microwave cabinet for nuking woodworm. ?
Possibly adapting parts from a domestic microwave.
Obviously serious consideration would have to be given to safety.
Low power. 250 watts and short bursts to Zap em good I think. Enough to wipe out the bugs and eggs but not damage Veneer etc.
