The legs on that cabinet were cut off just above where the stretcher base used to be. Compare your set to this photo:

Look carefully at the legs, and compare to your radio. You will see what I mean.

I've never seen, or heard of, this model ever having a decorative grille - only the "Tapestry" grille cloth.
