41-300 = Happy Camper
#16

49Stude63 Wrote:I had tried several times on ebay to purchase one of the these radios but seem to always end up as a dollar short on the bids, so I finally just gave up. I always thought they would be a decent sounding and a decent performing radio if restored.

I own a 41-315 which is the same chassis but a different cabinet and it is a great performing radio, excellent sensitivity and selectivity and a good sound from its big speaker also. The 41-295 is also almost identical in performance and those should be more common. If you know anyone in the Minneapolis area there is currently a 41-300 for sale on Craigslist.
