Don't remember It's been about 15yrs since I've worked on one. Should be the one the volume control is connected to.

Ok, the coil is out and am ready to rewind....yes, the small coil was open. Larger primary coil is fine.

Does this need to be magnet wire or will a non-coated work here? The smallest RS has is #30 in magnet wire.
