Hey guys,.
I have Mark Stein's Table Radio Volume One, and it has the value of the 712 listed at $500.00,.. I know a great deal of us think Stein's books carry prices that are way out there, however,.......
I have found if you are looking for a radio to keep for yourself,.. such as this one @ $300.00, given it's good condition, that is not a bad price.
I have also discovered over the last five years of selling, if you are buying to restore and sell, I find his prices are a good mark to set your BIN.
Usually the buyer will check the book value, and feel satisfied they are getting a good set after doing their homework on the seller.
Hope everyone had a nice Christmas and are having a Happy 2014 so far,
Kenneth
