Philco 46-1201 code 127
#1

I'm looking for a schematic for this two knob set. I can find the code 122 but not the 127, and it's not listed in my Mallory encyclopedia 5th edition. The 127 uses the 50Y6 rect. and has a PM speaker. Also, I have seen a four knob version of this 'Bing Crosby' radio/phono. Any idea what the model number is on that one? Thanks, Ken

Hi Ken

My 1946-47 Philco Home Radio service manual has two pages of production changes for Model 46-1209, and an additional two pages of general information. The changes go through Code 130, and shows a partial schematic of the power supply and audio circuit of Code 127. I can scan and e-mail these to you if you wish...let me know.

I've seen a picture of the four knob version of this set somewhere. I seem to recall that was either an export model or a UK-exclusive model? I've never seen, nor do I have any info on, a domestic (USA) version of this set with more than two knobs.

Glad to hear you got it. Sorry, I haven't been around the computer as much the past couple of days.

If anyone else needs this info, I have scanned all of the production changes to Model 46-1201 and now have it in PDF format (7 pages).

This information, along with three other downloadable files, may be found here:
