Model 60 cap ?
#1

I'm in the process of recapping and doing the molded blocks here is the schematic
http://www.nostalgiaair.org/pagesbymodel...013793.pdf
Part #27 a double .00011 (110pf)  8035-DG
I opened it up and there were two molded mica caps! Holding it so the arrow is pointing to the right the colors from the left are Blue (6), Brown (1), Yellow They both read 124pf. Seems to me the colors should be something like Brown, Black, brown ? What am I missing? There in good shape can I reuse them?

Thanks Eric  Icon_crazy

124pf is close enough to 110 to not make a difference. they probably had some they needed to use. If you haven't seen the thread on the Evolution of the Model 60 it might be worth a look. There were a lot of changes made. See: http://www.philcoradio.com/phorum/showth...?tid=15007

Your meter might hive you an error, don't know if you can zero it, but as Bob must said, good enough.
If they are molded micas (and you are sure of it) you could reuse them.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.

Was puzzled at the color coding as blue (6) was the  digit in my first post.
