Philco 118 Tuner Grommets
#1

I have ordered the three grommets from Radio Daze for the Philco 118 tuner. Would anyone please tell me which side of the grommet is up? The narrow thickness or the wide thickness?

Thank you,

Test fit it. These grommets determine the height of the dial scale relative to the escutcheon window.

Good luck with the project and all of us here are expecting a full report when you're finished.

I think the thick part raising the tuning cap is up. But, as said - test it.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.

I do not have the cabinet, so I am going to have to give it a guess and hope it comes out alright.

Thank you,
