Removing board

I'm trying to get the circuit board that the pushbuttons are connected to so I can rewire it. But I cant get it to budge. The board looks to be held in with a thin metal piece but i can't get it all to separate. Am I doing something wrong? This is on a philco 42-380 by the way.

The '40s pushbutton sets I've worked on the pb assembly has a metal frame that is held in by 4 sheet metal screws. Two in the front and two in the back. There are several wires to disconnect also.
YMMV ps I try to stay away from the '39-'42 models (I get these sharp pains in my gluteus maximus when ever I work one) so I haven't had any hands on experience w/the '380 and I can't tell much from the service info. Some pics would help out. When my pals were reading comic books I was down in the basement in my dad's workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to figure out what all those squiggly meant. Circa 1966 Now I think I've got! Terry

Yeah there kinda invisible.
When my pals were reading comic books I was down in the basement in my dad's workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to figure out what all those squiggly meant. Circa 1966 Now I think I've got! Terry

There's a bunch of stuff needs to be unsoldered/ removed before you can think about getting the p/b out. The bcb coils and trimmers can come out as a unit but from the pics it looks like just about everything else has to be unsoldered. On pic #2 right where the two red wire cross is where one of the mounting screws is located. When my pals were reading comic books I was down in the basement in my dad's workshop. That's what i was afraid of. Now if I can make sure I can stick to the schematic without messing anything up. I'll be ok. Would you recommend replacing tube sockets as well?
