Motorola 3MFT
#1

I recently began restoring a 1955 Motorola 3MFT truck radio and I’m having trouble finding diagrams on it (parts, operation, etc). Does anyone have info or know where to get information for this radio? There’s a bunch of numbers all over it but, I can’t find out what anything means. Still working on the Philco, just taking a break

Some info from Beitmans.

Can anyone please tell me how to remove these push button arms from the radio? They move in and out smoothly then stop like they should so, there must be a way to completely remove them but, I can’t figure it out. I want to clean them up and get at a little bit of rust that I can’t get to easily with them in.

The 5JP1 sounds like either like a military tube, or one built for some piece of older industrial equipment.Arran — 02:59 PM

Yes, in those it is. In 20/90 it is a metal spring that holds the rotor in the cradles of the outer walls.morzh — 01:39 PM
