You might want to try Kapton tape.

Patrick, FWIW and I don’t know if there’s a reason you can’t or shouldn’t use this, others may know, but I’ve used common scotch/cellophane tape in coil rewinding projects and it worked just fine! YMMV

I just found a roll of mylar tape. But I do have a question about Ron's instructions:

When winding the secondary coil, do you wind clockwise from the BOTTOM of the form (which is actually the end closest to the terminals), or from the TOP of the form? It appears in the pic, that the wire is inserted into hole #5, and then wound clockwise the direction of the arrow.

Ron says "Taking the free end of your #31 or #32 AWG enameled magnet wire, poke it into a hole closest to terminal number 3 of the coil form. Feed the wire through the hole and pull it down from inside the form. Then wrap a few turns of the free end around terminal number 3. Now solder the wire to this terminal.

Next, carefully wind a single layer of 150 turns clockwise onto the form. Clockwise indicates the direction of winding as you look at the bottom of the form."

Think I just figured it out.
