Two questions: Service Notes and Tube Availability
#1

Hi All:

Progressing well with the 46-1213. A close friend tells me that Philco used to put out "service notes", or technical notes as we know the term today. Any idea where I could get the service notes promulgated for the 46-1213.

Second question is the FM1000 vacumn tube. New experience for me, never heard of it. Are they available anywhere? Source ID will be appreciated.

Related: you guys will be sorry you let me in; with all the pestering I am prone tol.

But thanks.

The fm1000 is still available, Bob D. has them listed. Below is his website:

Thanks Chuck. I put my check in the mail today with a bit extra for the workbench. The dedication deserves it.

The FM1000 is a unique heptode made by sylvania for philco. An all in one FM demodulator. There is no sub for it so I find it best to keep a few in stock. 8)

Dan Double conversion is using two IF converters instead of one. This improves the image response. morzh — 07:15 PM
