Please post schematic or link. Someone may have alignment procedure. If not, standard sequence is second IF, first IF then RF for a standard AM set.

Thanks for posting the schematic.

Its a AA6 set with RF stage with slug tuning on the IFs. Did not see a mention of the IF frequency but normally these are 455 KHz.

1) Fully close the gang tuning cap with full volume.
2) Inject IF signal at pin 7 of 12BE6 with enough strength to hear a tone.
3) Adjust slugs on T2 and T1 in that order for loudest tone. Reduce signal level on generator as needed to still hear the tone.
4) Next the RF front end. Check position of dial pointer across dial for full range. Go to 1500 on dial. Set generator to 1500 KHz and place the RF cable near the antenna to receive the signal.
5) Adjust oscillator trimmer C6 on ganged tuning cap for max tone.
6) Adjust adjust antenna trimmer C2 on ganged tuning cap for max tone.
7) For RF stage, adjust C4 trimmer on ganged tuning for max tone.
7a) Move dial to 600 KHz, adjust L2 slug of RF amp for max signal.

Thanks for the info...The IF peaked right up however the RF @ 1500 is right on the edge of the dial all the way open and I can not get the Osc trimmer to walk it down the dial...Also the 600 comes in @ About 820 on the dial or @ about half gang and the osc trimmer does not walk it down the dial...Osc coil show continutity checks out../Any ideas???TKS in advance...
