Oh, very nice score!

No matter where you go, there you are.

Very nice score for a very nice price. Luck too with the 47 tubes. Much less expensive than the 45s if you need a replacement. I too have a 112 in my bedroom. It is the floor mount console without the legs. I like your cabinet style a lot more. Post your progress on it as many of us have had experience on this model. We could give you some hints to make things easier.

Don, I recently scored a 111 High boy. I love the look of that radio. Now setting with a nice view of the upstairs area. I think think it is my favorite.

Outstanding score!! A very good radio for 1931!!!

I recently connected a Pilot Super-Wasp shortwave converter to my 112, it makes a good radio even better!

Don, could you post a picture of your 112 floor standing (no legs)? Mine is depressingly dark in color. Hard to see the wood grain. I did no refinish on it as it looked original but the color is something Darth Vader like! Like to see yours.

Sure i need to move a few set around to get to it ,but not a problem

Here is a pic of my 111, not the best lighting. Love the styling.

There is a Bel gedes model for sale at an antique store in Yucca Valley. It was marked $450, so I told the owner that it was ten times a realistic price, or maybe five, as the cabinet does not need refinishing. Go get it if you want one.

FSM, you keep finding stuff out there! I do believe it is Yucca Valley unless things have changed since I lived in So. Cal. Keep on looking and I will see if I can find Yucco Valley.
