Tone control rebuild
#1

According to the parts list the tone control for my 16B should be a 30-4033 but what's under the chassis is a 30-4069, probably not much difference. Does anyone know what caps are inside and where they connect to? There are two small black wires that come out of the block and connect to the control and one red and one black that connect elsewhere under the chassis. Thanks, Brett

Thanks Jerry, neither of my numbers were on that list plus I could use a little more info.

I do not have 16B sch, I only have 16 - doesn't the sch show the caps in the tone control separately? At least in several Philcos I've dealt with it does, like in 90's tone control I've just rebuilt.
