Temple speaker makeover/ now what
#1

I wanted to get a speaker from the 20s to add something different to my collection of radios from the 30s. So I picked this Temple speaker to restore and could not fine any cloth to match original so I came up with this and I like it. Now all I need is a radio to restore to match speaker. Not a battery set , I want one I can plug into wall outlet. Any suggestions? The cloth I picked out has a wrinkle look to it which I thought looked like it could have been something from the 20s. I can always change it out when I get mad enough from being told how ugly Icon_think it looks .Looks a lot nicer in person.

Something like an RCA Radiola 17, 18, 60 or an AK 40 from the late 1920's is AC powered and would work fine with a high impedance speaker.
