Dial Stringing for 42-360
#1

Restoring a philco radio mod- 42-360.So far i have all the electronics functioning however before i place it in the cabinet i need to replace the dial cord.Question:
Would the above diagram apply on a mod-42-360? [ed. this post was originally in the Tech Section and the diagram GIZMO is referring to is for models 14, 17, etc., klondike98] I'm thinking 30 gauge string but not sure. From diagram I do not see where the Frequency indicator comes in play?
It's a great radio for my man cave if i can finish the project? GIZMO

No, the diagrams that you are referring to are for those specific models: 14, 17, 18, 22L, 23X, 43, 47, 49, 71, 91, 118, 200X, 201X, 509X

I'm going to move this from the Tech Section into the Electronic Restoration section and change the title.  I think you'll get more responses that way.  Folks...GIZMO is looking for a dial stringing diagram for a 42-360.

Thanks for the help Klondike 98 and KC MIKE--Still looking for dial string diagram.
So far I have enough possibilities to try and improvise but I need to get some newer
tension spring before i ruin the old ones. Going on Stand By.
